This way you can store up to five times the data as would normally be allowed. In order to use it as a backup program, you need to set it up to perform incremental synchronization to another folder, which would then be stored on another storage device in case your computer were to crash.

The Comparator program is similar to Briefcase Plus in that it allows for data synchronization. It’s optimized for use on just a single computer and can run quite smoothly on most current computer models. It’s backup data restoration is very strong but one of it’s downsides is that it requires some user interaction. So if you’re not incredibly computer literate then this might not be the best option for you but you’ll have the added benefit of being able to backup more complex files.
